Confident Vietnamese mothers-to-be: 3,000 expectant mothers practise yoga at home
On 19 December 2021, 3,000 expectant mothers across Vietnam practised yoga at home on their phones during “Confident Vietnamese mothers-to-be”, watched live by more than 20,000 people.
Building on the 2020 online event, KidsPlaza held “Confident Vietnamese mothers-to-be – Connecting 3,000 expectant mothers for online yoga” on the morning of 19 December 2021, streamed live on the KidsPlaza Fanpage and YouTube channel.
With just a smartphone, 3,000 expectant mothers across the provinces followed coach Gurdev Singh. More than 20,000 people watched the broadcast at the same time.
Joy shared through the screen
People's Artist Xuan Bac hosted the programme, and singer Dong Nhi returned for a second year. Every participating mother received a newborn essentials combo worth about VND 1.5 million.
In the middle of the pandemic, the programme gave mothers a reason to keep moving, stay positive and feel they were not alone on the road to motherhood.
